Introduction to Buddhism

In these series of talks and discussions, we will explore the teachings and aspects of the Buddha's life and the Buddhist path and practice, including the Four Noble Truths, the Noble Eightfold Path, dependant origination, Six Perfections, and other elements of the Mahayana Path.  These teachings will be approached from the Lamdre (Path including the Result) aspect of the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
 
Classes run by Ven. Lekshe Tsultim.

NEW SERIES  (DVD's
 
Currently showing at the Rongton Buddhist Centre is STAGES OF MEDITATION  (Bhavakrama) II - A Commentary of a 15th Century Tibetan Buddhist scholar RONGTON, recently translated into English by Lama Choedak Rinpoche.

This wonderful and precious series of 10 DVDs is being utilized at our centre within the meditation and teaching framework.

These recorded teachings, the first of which was viewed on 28th January 2009, are currently being shown every second Wednesday evening at 8.30pm.  This alternates with our regular Chenrezig practice, and follows our Calm Abiding Meditation practice (at 7.30pm every Wednesday night).
