The benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the Tibetan Buddhist practice of Calm Abiding Meditation both have a proven record in their ability to improve physical and mental health and wellbeing, and to provide a clear perspective on how to experience greater happiness in life. 

 

In this, the second of a proposed series of Health Workshops at the Rongton Buddhist Centre in Brisbane, qualified practitioners of both TCM and Calm Abiding Meditation will introduce you to the basic theory and practice of each of these disciplines.

WHAT TO BRING:  Please bring a plate to share for lunch (morning and afternoon tea is provided). You may wish to bring notepad and pen; and the wearing of comfortable, loose-fitting    clothes is recommended.  Meditation cushions are provided.

Acupuncture Service offered by Crystal Ma

Crystal is a qualified acupuncturist who now resides at the Rongton Centre. She is highly valued by participants who attended an Easter Health Retreat at SIBA under her treatments. During your consultation with Crystal, she will guide you to recognize symtoms (signals from body) regarding the condition of your health, and will provide treatments and work on any health issues with you.

 She now offers acupunture, moxibustion, acupressure service on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9am - 3pm.  ($40 as a donation is recommended.)

Chinese language Class offered by Crystal Ma

Crystal is also a qualified teacher, and whilst in China, she was a most popular Chinese teacher in secondary school.  At the Rongton Buddhist Centre here in Brisbane, she also offers Chinese language classes or tutoring.  Please confirm a time that would suit both you and Crystal. ($15/hour session, or $120 for a 10-session term.)
